Pledges

Pledges enable a donor to plan a personal giving program that is both convenient and tax-wise. A pledge may enable a donor to consider a more significant gift than would have been otherwise possible. Securities

Tax-free transfers of 401K or IRA distributions may be made as outright gifts. Stock certificates may be reassigned directly to Verb Ballets or may be transferred through the donor’s broker. Stock Gifts

Many people choose to contribute to Verb Ballets by transferring securities rather than making a direct contribution of cash. By choosing this method of giving, you will not pay any capital gains tax on your gift, and you may be able to claim a Federal income tax deduction based on the full fair market value of the securities on the effective date of your gift.
