check out Verb in Tremont this weekend

Verb will be concluding its summer season at Lincoln Park in Tremont this Friday and Saturday. The performances are at 8:30pm. Bring a comfortable chair and even a picnic dinner. The weather bureau is saying it’s going to be beautiful!

For those of you who follow the company, we’ll be saying goodbye to Garrett McCann, who will be going off to college where he will attend SUNY Purchase as a dance major. Garrett graduated from Firestone High School a year ago and decided to gain some professional experience before attending college.  He spent the past year as an apprentice with the company.

Lloyd Amir Boyd, will conclude his second summer with Verb as a Verb Clicks trainee. Lloyd graduated from the Cleveland School of the Arts a year ago, spent the summer with Verb and then went off to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts. He will complete our performances this weekend and promptly go back to start his Sophomore year there.

The program will consist of Janis & Joe and Continuum-highlights from the summer, will give its final performances of Noumenon Mobilus, an iconic masterpiece and finish with one of its signature works, Bolero. We’ll also be introducing Verb’s new line dance. Anyone can learn it! It consists of movement from some of Verb’s most favored pieces.  See if you can figure out which ones!
